CFS-955 Chloromethyltriethoxysilane is a chlorine-containing compound, which always acts as an important intermediate for the preparation of functional silanes and silicone compounds. It's also known as triethoxychloromethylsilane. CFS-955 can react violently with compounds containing active hydrogen and release hydrogen chloride. It is a key raw material for the synthesis of CFS-765, Phenylaminomethyltriethoxysilane with Cas No. 3473-76-5 and CFS-479, Diethylaminomethyltriethoxysilane with Cas No. 15180-47-9.

Applications of CFS-955, Chloromethyltriethoxysilane

CFS-955 is mainly used as an essential raw material to produce functional silanes. It's always used to produce several alpha silanes and amino functional silanes.
CFS-955 can be also used as an RTV rubber additive and an intermediate for organic silicone materials.
CFS-955 can act as a coupling agent to improve adhesion between organic polymers and inorganic substrates.
CFS-955 can be also used as a surface modifier for micro-particle surface modification
