CFS-062, Tetraethyl orthosilicate 40 is the ethyl polysilicate with a minimum SiO2 content of 40%. It is also named Tetraethoxysilane hydrolysate or Ethyl silicate 40 and known as abbreviated TEOS 40 or Si-40. CFS-062 is mainly used as in important intermediate for a wide range of applications. It is the equivalent of Dynasylan® SILBOND® 40.

Applications
CFS-062 is an important material for sol-gel processing. It can be used as a crosslinking agent, a binder or a drying agent in adhesives and coatings, especially suitable for anti-corrosion coatings, zinc-rich coatings, chemicals-resistance coatings and heat-resistance coatings.
CFS-062 can be used to deposit silicic acid and improve the bonding to various inorganic substrates such as metals, glass, fibers, inorganic fillers and pigments. It can improve mechanical properties as well as chemicals and thermal stability of the composites.
CFS-062 can be used for the synthesis of cold curing silicone rubbers.
CFS-062 can be used to replace CFS-104(Tetraethyl orthosilicate, or TEOS) with higher SiO2 content to reduce costs.

CFS-062 is offered in 25L PE pails, 200L PVF steel drums and 1000L IBC totes.
